Physician-led care in Mission Hills and La Jolla

Personalized lab assessment

Find the lab panel that fits you

Answer a few questions about your goals, symptoms, and health history. In about two minutes you will see which panel our clinicians would start with, and why. Your physician confirms it with you at your intake.

What we may recommend

Three panels, chosen for the question you are asking

Every panel is drawn at your Optimization Intake and read with you afterwards. Your clinician can widen or narrow the testing before the draw.

01

Hormone Panel

For men whose question is focused on testosterone, libido, strength, or motivation, without metabolic or cardiovascular concerns in the picture.

  • Testosterone status and the markers used to interpret it
  • Thyroid function
  • Baseline safety markers before hormone therapy
02

Core Panel

The comprehensive baseline for women and men. It is where most people start, and the minimum whenever fatigue, weight, or peptide therapy is part of the conversation.

  • Your full hormone profile
  • Thyroid function
  • Metabolic and blood sugar health
  • General health screening markers
03

Advanced Panel

For longevity-focused patients and anyone carrying more than one higher-risk factor, such as age 50 and over, a family history of heart disease, or existing hormone therapy.

  • Everything in the Core Panel
  • Expanded hormone and thyroid evaluation
  • Inflammation markers
  • Advanced cardiovascular risk markers
What happens next

From answers to a plan

The assessment points to a starting panel. A clinician does the rest, in person, at one of our two San Diego clinics.

  1. 01

    Your assessment

Two minutes of questions gives us your goals, symptoms, and history before you arrive.

  2. 02

    Optimization Intake & Lab Draw

A clinician confirms or adjusts the panel with you, then your blood is drawn in the clinic.

  3. 03

    Results consultation

Your results are reviewed with your symptoms, history, and medications, not read to you as numbers.

  4. 04

    Plan & monitoring

If care is appropriate, you get the plan, the alternatives, the risks, and the follow-up schedule.

Questions about the assessment

How long does it take?
About two to three minutes. Questions you do not need are skipped automatically, so the length depends on your answers.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. It suggests a starting panel based on what you told us. Only a clinician can interpret your results and decide what they mean for you.
Do I have to take the panel it recommends?
No. It is a recommendation you can discuss. Your clinician may widen or narrow the testing at your intake, before anything is drawn.
What is the Optimization Intake & Lab Draw?
It is your first visit. A clinician reviews your goals, symptoms, and history, confirms the right panel with you, and your blood is drawn in the clinic. Your results are reviewed with you afterwards.
Do you have a location near me?
We see patients in person at two San Diego clinics: Mission Hills and La Jolla. You choose the location that is most convenient.
